Want to know something? An event color scheme can be one of the most intense parts of planning. In most cases you have to please multiple parties (grooms, family members, etc.) in addition to trying to stay true to who you are!
I've heard of some brides & grooms who have gone back and forth on their colors for three (3) to six (6) months!! My advice to you-so you're not in the three-to-six-month situation? Pick colors that reflect the energy and ambiance of your event. If you're going for a beach wedding, beach colors are obvious faves, right? Well, don't feel intimidated by a splash of unexpected color!

While this has topped some of the 2010 favorite color combination lists, I'm still a huge fan of unexpected color combinations! Remember, while you may see "trendy" items on wedding forums and blogs, 99% of your guests will not be "up" on the wedding industry trends! :)
